MAIN VERBS (OR) ACTION VERBS
These are the words which say about our works done by our mind and physical body.
These are innumerable.
They have Four forms

If we observe the above forms of Main Verbs some Present forms are added with the syllable 'ed' in Past and Past Participle forms. Such kinds of verbs are called "Regular Verbs".
Up-to some verbs the spelling is same but pronunciation is changed in Past and Past Participle forms.

Such kinds of verbs are called "Irregular Verbs".
That means these Main Verbs are divided into Regular and Irregular Verbs considering their forms.
But according to the function these Main Verbs, they are divided into Transitive and Intransitive Verbs.
TRANSITIVE VERBS: The verbs which are followed by Object (what work it denotes and to whom the result of that work transfers) are called Transitive Verbs.
Ex: I wrote a Novel.
They are playing foot ball.
The Police caught the thief.
Ravi could not organize the party.
He plays chess everyday.
INTRANSITIVE VERBS: The verbs which are not followed by Object are called "Intransitive Verbs".
Ex: Please look at the board.
I go to bed at 10pm everyday.
They came from Hyderabad.
We have run to bus station.
He is suffering from fever.
NOTE: In-fact Transitive Verb is the life for the application of "Passive Rule"
(Passive Voice).
