Apple incorporation the world's second largest information Technology Company by revenue and the third largest mobile phone maker introducing its mobile operating system now in Automobiles this year. It is an interesting move by Apple to link its iPhone software with a new CARPLAY system.
Upon the launch of the iPhone 5S and 5C, Apple sold over nine million devices in the first three days of its launch made Apple to be listed on the record sales result. This made Apple to think of using iPhone software in vehicle's-in-dash display to allow drivers to access the phone's Maps, Music, Messages and other features.

As the publicity in pro the automobile companies Ferrari (specially known as Formula One participator and generally seen as a symbol of speed, luxury and wealth), Mercedes-Benz (one of the best selling luxury automakers along with Audi and BMW), Volvo (known for production, distribution and sale of trucks, buses and construction equipment) will demonstrate the new technology at this week's Geneva Auto Show and Apple expects more than a dozen other major car manufacturers to bring the system to its automobiles in the future.
Apple assured that the new CARPLAY system will be available in the cars from its three European partners as well as Honda, Hyundai and Jaguar.
According to Apple the new CARPLAY system works only with iPhone 5S software and 5C and 5 can be activated using a push-and-hold button on the steering wheel. It requires an update to its current IOS 7 operating system.
Siri an intelligent personal assistant and knowledge navigator which works as an application for Apple's IOS is now used in the new CARPLAY system. Siri uses a natural language user interface to answer questions, make recommendations and perform actions by delegating requests to set web services. Car-Play takes advantage of Siri to respond through voice commands, by reading drivers' messages aloud and letting them dictate a reply or make a call.
This latest CARPLAY system's announcement is the sign of an increasing brawl between Apple and Google's Android operating system to control the connected cars of the future. It's an extension of a challenge entrenched in hundreds of millions of smartphones and tablet computers.
As the million new cars and light trucks been selling each year, automobiles are looking forward to represent a significant new opportunity for internet-based software and services in which Apple and Google are the diehard competitors.
